Biography

Harold Brooks is a Senior Research Scientist at NOAA's National Severe Storms Laboratory. Dr. Brooks holds Masters of Science and Philosophy and a Ph.D., all in Atmospheric Science. His research interests include the occurrence of severe thunderstorms and tornadoes in time and space and environmental conditions, as well as the impacts of those events on life and property, and the mitigation of the impacts. He also works on the impact of climate change on severe thunderstorm and tornado occurrence and intensity.
